The Gleason family has been on this ranch for five generations. Our grass-fed beef
is from cattle that are born, raised and finished on this land. We treat our animals
humanely and raise them peacefully. Our cattle forage naturally on lush pastures
with plenty of fresh air, clean water, and room to roam.

We were taught to take care of our land and animals by our parents, just as they
were taught by theirs. Sometimes the old ways are better.

Hard work, responsible ranching, and feeding our families the best food we can
are things we believe in. One taste of our grass-fed beef will make you a believer
too. Rich and bold in flavor like the land itself, our beef is delicious and nutritious.

Having worked with many local, sustainable farmers, we have never had the
opportunity to do so with so mainstream a product like beef. Together, we are
working to establishing a new paradigm from the traditional farmer / butcher /
restaurant relationship. This family is changing Washington agriculture, and they
have changed the way we source our beef. Canlis is proud to support them, and
